July 26, 2007: "Cinnamon"
Harnett County Animal Control contacted USERL for assistance placing a horse surrendered during an investigation. The mare was tranpsorted to a USERL quarantine July 26, 2007. She appears bright and alert, but thin (BCS of 2). Cinnamon is doing well in quarantine with no apparent health issues. Updates will be released throughout her rehabilitation.

Update! August 16, 2007
Cinnamon is doing great. She has cleared quarantine with no apparent health issues and is ready for a rehab foster to continue her care.

Cinnamon is a very sweet mare and has great ground manners. She's been an easy rehab in quarantine with no apparent health problems.

Update!
January 15, 2007
Cinnamon has completed rehabilitation and is doing wonderful.  She has been evaluated under saddle and is now available for adoption soon.  She rides very well and handles easily on the ground.  Look for her profile at www.userl.org for more information about her.
A special thank you to her wonderful fosters for doing such a great job with Cinnamon.  She's healthy and ready for her new life!
