August 21, 2008:
Two horses were surrendered during a cruelty investigation in Nash County by USERL Investigators.  They were transported to a USERL quarantine/rehab foster farm.  The paint mare is a body condition score of a 1.5, and the Mini stallion is a score of a 2.5.  Both are doing very well and have cleared quarantine.  They are now ready for foster homes to complete their rehabilitation before being adopted into new homes.
